First Baptist hosts Hymn Sing & Ice Cream Social on Sunday, July 8, 2012
Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 01:55PM On Sunday, July 8, 2012, the First Baptist Church of Bennington, Vermont, will host a hymn sing as part of its 9:30 AM weekly worship. The hymn sing is a venerable tradition among many Christians as worshipers gather to share their favorite hymns and join voices together. The service will be led by Marion Riddle and other lay leaders along with Charlotte Knighton, organist. After the morning worship, a special “Make your own sundae” ice cream social will be held during the weekly coffee hour. The congregation gratefully acknowledges the donation of ice cream and toppings from Stewarts’ Shops.
