Together, we are exploring "Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations", a curriculum devised by the Rev. Robert Schnase, bishop of the United Methodist church. We are exploring the ways that congregations are finding new life with ancient practices of the church. Through video, class discussion, and brief readings each week, we are exploring Schnase's question: What does a fruitful, vital, growing congregation look like? The five practices that help churches flourish include: Radical Hospitality, Passionate Worship, Intentional Faith Development, Risk-taking Mission and Service, and Extravagant Generosity.
